Dr. E. P. Fasina
Dr. Fash, as he is fondly called, is a dynamic, brillant and well-versed lecturer of the Department of Computer Sciences, at the University of Lagos, Akoka. He teaches courses like 'A Modern Programming Language", "Data Communications", "Computer Architecture", amongst others. He is called a "Walking encyclopaedia" because he knows virtually something about everything! The CarBurn idea originated from his great mind.
He got his first degree in Physics from the University of Lagos. He later went to Imperial College for his Masters in Data Communications.

- CarBurn is part of a proposed FRAMEWORK that is composed of three components that work together to create better environmental conditions. These are the chip firmware, the web service and the data centre. The CHIP FIRMWARE is created to work with chips that are integrated in devices that operate in the environmental condition that it monitors. It connects to sensors from which it picks data on the working of devices or from the environment. The data is logged and sent to a web service that is hard-coded in the firmware. CarBurn firmware works with internal combustion engines of cars, aircrafts, etc and picks data from their sensors and sends it to the specified web service. The WEB SERVICE picks the data from the firmware and sends it to the data centre. The DATA CENTRE contains a database that is used for analyses of environmental conditions based on location, pollutants, etc. The information can now be available to government agencies, private organisations and individuals. It can also be used for real-time monitoring of the environment and to propose ways of improving on environmental conditions.
